The Train Method turns scattered ideas into clear next steps.

I’m Leigh-Ann Mick, creator of The Train Method, a visual planning system I built after years of trying to make traditional organization systems work for my zigzaggy brain. I’ve spent nearly 20 years helping creatives, entrepreneurs and overwhelmed thinkers turn big ideas into clear action through design, teaching and step-by-step systems.

Over the years, I’ve taught thousands of students through online classes, creative education and business training. I’ve built businesses from hobbies, launched successful online courses and helped people organize everything from websites to workflows to life transitions.

What makes me different is that I don’t teach perfection, I teach momentum. The Train Method is flexible, visual and built for folks who love a hands-on approach!

Alumni reviews

Before taking The Train Method, I felt like I had so many projects at different stages that nothing could hold them the way my brain works. I’d tried Notion, Google Calendar, Airtable — everything felt close, but not quite right. So I was keeping way too much in my head. The biggest shift for me was being able to organize multiple projects at once while still letting them evolve. I can visualize one project start to finish, adapt details as things change, and always know exactly where I am — even when I’m jumping between five things in one day. A huge example was launching my podcast. Planning a 10-episode season with all the logistics could have felt overwhelming enough to stall me. But laying it out step by step made it doable. It kept me from spiralling, helped me prioritize in real time, and ultimately helped me complete the full season. The course itself builds progressively and is immediately actionable. Each lesson stacks on the last, with practical homework so you’re implementing as you go. It’s in-depth, flexible, and works with how your brain actually functions — especially if you’re someone ambitious managing multiple moving parts. I now use this method across nearly every creative project I run — from launches to content planning to organizing my actual schedule. I genuinely can’t imagine building without it at this point! I’m so grateful to L.A. for sharing her genius with the world!
